Six months ago, Pathways Pop Shop began with a simple belief: a small business could become a place where creativity, friendship, job training, and purpose all belong together.

Since then, the Pop Shop has grown into a lively, hands-on learning environment. Members have explored product presentation, live selling, merchandising, inventory, packing, shipping, teamwork, and customer service. Every show and every order creates another chance to practice a skill, discover a strength, and take pride in a job completed together.

Some of the most important growth cannot be measured by sales alone. It can be seen in a member becoming more comfortable on camera, remembering the steps of a familiar task, helping a teammate, sharing a new idea, or realizing that customers are excited to see them return.

The Pop Shop is also a social enterprise. The work is real, the customers are real, and the team’s contribution matters. That authenticity helps turn training into experience and experience into greater confidence and independence.

We have learned a great deal during these first six months. We have experimented, adjusted, celebrated wins, laughed through surprises, and continued building a program around the people who participate in it. Our members help shape the culture of the shop and the direction of what comes next.

None of this would be possible without the customers, donors, families, volunteers, and community partners who believe in the mission. When you shop with us, donate inventory, share a show, or tell someone about Pathways, you become part of the pathway.

This is only the beginning. We are excited to create more roles, welcome more members, build new partnerships, and keep proving that purpose and belonging can grow from one opportunity at a time.
