Today, Pathways Social Club is taking a moment to celebrate someone who represents so much of what our community is all about: Donald Cannon.
In May 2026, Donald was elected President of Pathways Social Club by his fellow board members and peers—a role that fits him well. Donald is everybody’s friend, someone our members know they can count on, and a person who leads by encouraging the people around him. He has become someone our guys can look up to not because he pretends life is always easy, but because he keeps moving forward and working toward what he wants.
And lately, Donald has been putting in the work.
He is back in school working toward completing his general education, recently earned his CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, started a new part-time job, and continues working with Pathways Social Club through our job program.
That is a lot to take on—and we are incredibly proud of him.
Donald is proof that growth does not have to happen all at once. It happens by showing up, trying again, learning new things, taking opportunities, and continuing to believe that there is more ahead of you.
With enough hustle, determination, support, and willingness to keep going, there really is no limit to what someone can accomplish.
Donald, thank you for being a leader, a friend, and an example to the Pathways community. We see how hard you are working to build the life you want, and today we just want to make sure you know:
